The Legendary Platypus Dancer
59” x 8.5” ; 48” Wheelbase
Finally Starting on my longboard, and I’m having trouble deciding on a wheelbase… The whole thing will probably be 48” long though.
So, today I stopped by my local skate shop to take a look at some pricing. Now, I don’t have a fifth period, and I was waiting for some friends to get out of theirs, so I was lurking about this shop quite a bit, and ended up talking to the manager, who was working there at the time. We were talking a bit about my skateboards, since I had my cleaver with me, and he brought up that some of the kids leave behind their old decks when they buy new ones, and offered to give them to me, so Long story short: I just got three free decks, and though they’re a bit thrashed, I can definitely work with em. The second picture is including the two I already had. What you guys might actually care about is that I’m planning on making a Koi fish board, and I might make the fatty board into a squid, even though the thing seems super ancient, and it’s almost a shame to cut it up, but it’s so thrashed that I think it could use a touch up and some sweet, sweet lovin. I should have actual art to post soon.
